Jessie Calero (she/her) has more than 10 years of nonprofit experience, with specialized expertise in fundraising, grant writing, and communications. Ms. Calero is especially committed to building resources using community-centered fundraising principles. Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Calero worked to bridge service gaps faced by people with disabilities living in New Mexico as the Development Director at Mandy’s Farm. Ms. Calero is committed to examining issues of poverty and inequity through the lens of systemic barriers, especially for those who live at the intersection of multiple identities. As an autistic woman, Ms. Calero is particularly interested in access and equity in employment, education, and public benefits.
