Stacey Leaman is the Development Director for NMCLP. She has overseen the organization’s fundraising and resource development since 2007. The Center was a perfect match for her passion to work in a social justice nonprofit organization and her academic background studying politics and constitutional law. Prior to joining the Center in 2004, Stacey worked as a Research Associate at Catholics for Choice and as a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research in Washington, DC. She has grown and diversified NMCLP’s revenue significantly over her tenure with the organization, successfully obtaining millions of dollars of grant funding from a wide variety of in-state and national foundations, securing consistent state government funding, and helping establish and grow the Center’s robust individual and corporate donor program. In her free time, Stacey enjoys traveling, live music, hiking, and spending time with her family.
