Paloma Mexika joined the Center in 2019 as a Communications Associate. Before joining the Center, she staffed her state representative during the 2018 legislative session. As an undergraduate student, Paloma spearheaded a startup company called Crafted which won the 2017 Rainforest Student Entrepreneur Pitch Competition. In her spare time, Paloma teaches a ‘Food Appreciation’ children’s enrichment class, volunteers as a tutor in various Albuquerque public schools, and takes care of her four pets. She is passionate about dedicating her life to New Mexico’s future.
