Access to healthcare by indigent New Mexicans 

Improving access to healthcare for low-income New Mexicans has been a major focus of the Center’s attention and efforts since our inception in 1995.  Our work in this area includes:

• Protecting and improving the Medicaid program in New Mexico.

• Ensuring that New Mexico's hospitals are providing healthcare services for the indigent.

• Increasing access to healthcare for Urban Indians.
